GST Case Law
34,241 decided GST cases from 23 High Courts, 2017 to 2026, drawn from 38,207 orders on the record. Search by company, court, section or outcome — every result links to the court’s own PDF.
Searches the party names, court, year and outcome of every decided case — plus the sections cited, for the judgments we have read in full. It does not search the full text of every judgment.
How to read this honestly
This is the court record, not a curated digest. Many entries are procedural — an adjournment, a remand, a matter withdrawn — and decide nothing of general application. A judgment being here does not make it good law: it may have been appealed, distinguished or overruled since. Use it to find what has been litigated and by whom, then read the PDF before relying on anything. Where the amount matters, get advice on whether the case actually helps you.
Orders by court
GST litigation by year
The climb is real. GST disputes reaching the High Courts have grown steadily as assessments for the early years worked through the system.
Reading is free. Getting it wrong isn’t.
Found a case that looks like yours?
A judgment in your favour is only useful if it actually applies to your facts, your year and your jurisdiction – and if it has not since been overturned. Send us the case and your situation, and we will tell you honestly whether it helps.
